Mildred C. Green (American, 1874-1951) Western New York painter, teacher, muralist and illustrator was known for harbor scenes, landscapes, portraits, murals decoration and illustrating and for writing newspaper articles.

1874- April 18, born in Paris, NY.

1892- Moved to Buffalo, NY, and maintained a studio at her home at 717 Delaware Avenue (later maintained a studio at 835 Richmond Avenue, Buffalo, NY and a summer studio in Clayville, NY).


Circa 1900- Studied at the Art Students' League, Buffalo, NY; the Buffalo School of Fine Arts under George B. Bridgman, Lucius W. Hitchcock and Edward Dufner.

1918- Exhibited at the Society of Independent Artists, NYC.

1920-41- Taught life-drawing and anatomy at the Buffalo School of Fine Arts (formerly the Albright Art School, now known as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery), Buffalo, NY.
